If you’re looking for an entry-level buy to test out this appliance that’s small and compact and could easily be hidden if you somehow dislike it later, Honeywell HHT-011 is the one. But don’t get me wrong, though. While HHT-011 is indeed the best small air purifier, it’s not an appliance that you would want to hide. With a coverage area of up to 85 square feet and a CADR rating of 55 (rating of 2/3 of coverage area is considered good), its performance in a small room is guaranteed.

Placement Flexibility
As the coverage area suggests, Honeywell HHT-011 is suitable for places with limited spaces. It can be placed horizontally or vertically, with air delivery equally good on its side and base. This means that it’s versatile when it comes to placement, and with a dimension of 14.7 x 11.2 x 7 inches and weight of 6.5 pounds, put it on a desk, on a cupboard or on top of a shelf and shift it around whenever you like without hassle.

Honeywell Enviracaire 50250 is very affordable for a HEPA air purifier and doesn’t take up a lot of space. It’s small, compact and round; nothing like other air purifiers resembling a tank. It has a permanent 99.97% HEPA filter that can be vacuum-cleaned and put back in the machine. This is so convenient and actually saves money in the long-run, since it eliminates the need to purchase HEPA filter replacements.
There is also a light indicator to let you know when it’s time for a filter change. The HEPA filter only needs to be vacuumed twice a year. It sucks a lot of air and blows cool air out, which is nice during summer when we’re hesitant about provoking our allergies by using the air conditioner or fan.
The downside is how noisy it is on the highest setting. I don’t mind too much since its benefits clearly outweigh the slight noise it makes. At least this way we know it works!
On low setting, it makes a soft, soothing noise similar to a fan. There are 3 speed options to choose from.
Honeywell Enviracaire 50250 is a great machine at an affordable price. I would recommend it for small spaces since it’s a small machine. The noise is a small price to pay for healthier living. Plus, it’s so compact and doesn’t require as much costly maintenance as typical air purifiers.
